  1. Macintosh SE

  3. The Macintosh SE adds expansions and flexibility to the power of the
  4. Macintosh Plus, making it Apple's mainstream business computer.
  5.  
  6. Processing speed is improved 15 to 20 percent over previous models allowing
  7. faster recalculation of spreadsheets and faster document processing.  SCSI
  8. performance is up to two times faster allowing faster launches and quits,
  9. data base searches, and document retrieval.
  10.  
  11. The Macintosh SE comes standard with either two 800K internal drives or
  12. one 800K internal drive and one internal 20MB SCSI hard disk.
  13.  
  14. The Macintosh SE incorporates the features of the Macintosh Plus including:

  16. --  The same compact design
  17.  
  18. --  A 68000 microprocessor
  19.  
  20. --  One megabyte of memory (expandable to four megabytes)
  21.  
  22. --  A connection for SCSI peripherals
  23.  
  24. Other features of the Macintosh SE include:

  26. --  The Macintosh SE-Bus Expansion Slot. Accessory Access allows
  27.     external products to be directly connected to an internal card.
